The intention behind starting Ekeeda was to redefine the conventional ways of teaching engineering. Having an engineering background, Mahesh Wagh - the founder of Ekeeda, soon realized that the traditional approach of engineering wasn't of any help to the students. Neither they could to create astounding careers for themselves nor they were compelled to build or contribute to a better future using their existing engineering skills. Also he noticed that lack of quality faculties in engineering colleges and specifically in remote areas were restraining the quality of education.
