Ishaa Studio is owned by Isha Dalal Mehta whose art practice is a unique one among many contemporary abstract artists in Mumbai, India. She studied art and design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for four years (2013-2017) with painting and drawing as her major as well as having worked in the fiber and material arts. With an interdisciplinary ideology, she also ventured into as a textile designer along with being an artist after returning back to Mumbai, India. In 2017 she had her first art show at a prestigious art gallery in the city, the Jehangir Art Gallery. Her love for color, pattern, and texture with her family’s rich background in textiles, sparked her interest in venturing into the textile design for printed fashion. Today the artist and her team, successfully run an independent studio space where art meets design. Artist Isha is one of the most unique contemporary abstract artists in Mumbai India. She predominantly uses her abstract art to build an interdisciplinary bridge between art and design. The studio is a creative house that sells unique and exclusive abstract paintings on canvas, printed textile designs and fashion fabrics, home decor designer cushion covers, and a collection of fine art luxury gift sets for corporate gifting.
